Submission of abstracts for ORAL PRESENTATION!

We encourage contributed lectures on all topics relevant to the conference. Contributions from early career researchers are specially welcomed.

Deadline for abstracts submission: 1st of December 2019
Notice of acceptance: 1st of February 2020
Deadline for full papers: 1st of April 2020

Deadline for full papers submission: 1st of April 2020. Only the full paper submitted using the template provided will be accepted.

PUBLICATION: As the three previous editions of this International Conference, the papers orally presented, personally and physically, in Barcelona, and that fulfill the marked requirements, will be published in a special book with ISBN (https://www.bubok.es/autores/biodigital).

Typical reasons for abstract rejection:
  • Abstract poorly written
  • Not enough new information
  • Hypothesis missing
  • Methods inadequate or insufficient to support conclusions
  • Data inadequate or insufficient to support conclusions
  • If applicable, insufficient sample size or number of examples
  • If applicable, controls inadequate or missing
  • If applicable, statistical evaluation inadequate or missing
  • Summary of essential results inadequate or missing
  • Duplicate or overlap with another abstract
  • Study too preliminary​
Submission Confirmation 
After submission of the abstract, a confirmation email will be sent to the abstract submitter. In order to receive this important communication, please ensure that emails from [email protected] and from [email protected] are not considered as spam by your e-mail provider. 

The final deadline to submit the abstract is 1st December 2019.

Full paper submission guidelines

The authors of accepted abstracts are expected to submit their full papers by e-mail no later than 1st April 2020.
To be accepted, a full paper must:
  • Be submitted before 1st April 2020
  • The paper text body is limited to 3000 words
  • Be prepared in accordance with the prescribed formatting requirements: must be according to the template.
  • Not have been submitted/published anywhere else
  • Have at least one registration made for that paper only, and this registration is made by 1st April 2020. (Only one registration cannot cover multiple papers).

Any paper that does not comply with these requirements by 1st April 2020 will be rejected.
