BIODIGARQ begins in November with online discussion and group blogging that considers program, generative design, smartphones and apps for design, social media for design communication, and theory of biologically-sourced architecture and structural design — all in preparation for classes in January 2014.

BIODIGARQ empezará en Noviembre con discusiones y grupos online en relación a programa, deiseño generativo, smartphones y aplicaciones para diseño, social media para comunicación de diseño y teoria sobre fuentes biologicas que se apliquen a arquitectura y diseño estructural - todo ello en preparación para las clases de Enero 2014.

Mobile BioDigital Design

We are introducing a new Studio in the Master taught by Professor Dennis Dollens. 
This Studio is a group-sourced, project-based class testing mobiles and smartphones as collaborative learning devices. 
This studio looks to nature through the flow of data in order to produce ideas, designs, and architecture based on natural and metabolic systems. In particular we will access the university Scanning Electron Microscope and mobile apps to extrapolate data as a biodigital source of design.
